Hirshorn Professional Liability Insurance Non-Renewal
As of 11/1/2020, Hirshorn Foreign Service is no longer providing federal employee professional liability insurance (PLI). For all those insureds affected by this decision, FEDS Protection will honor your original Hirshorn retroactive date to ensure uninterrupted coverage for acts, errors and omissions that may have occurred prior to purchasing the insurance with FEDS Protection.
In order to ensure continuous coverage when switching to FEDS Protection, you can select a future effective date to coincide with your Hirshorn policy expiration date. There will also be a field for you to enter the initial date you purchased PLI with Hirshorn so that we can capture your original "retroactive date” for purposes of continuous PLI coverage.
